Victoire carried this line, formerly known as Nokomis (which means 'Grandmother" in Ojibwe, as an ode to one of the founder's Indigenous heritage of his grandmother), over 6 years ago and it was a sad day when they closed their doors in Edmonton, Alberta. Now owned by two friends, Elizabeth Hudson, who you know from Ursa Minor, and Jessica Kennedy, they each took time for their own individual projects but have gotten back together to bring you ten classic designs updated for the modern woman. Featuring beautiful fabrics and flattering cuts, their pieces are the epitome of smart and beautiful design.

As always, they remain committed to sustainable, local production. All their pieces are designed, drafted & cut by hand, and produced in limited quantity by a small team in Montreal, Canada.
